A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Teamwork Therapies seeking a full time/part-time Speech therapist for our Pleasanton CA area. Dynamic individuals interested in working with children birth to 18 years old in a home-based setting for clients from 18 months to18 years are encouraged to apply. If interested in working independently with a flexible schedule please contact us. Travelling will include Tri-Valley, Hayward, Castro Valley, Fremont area.
Responsibilities :
Effective written and oral communication skills are also required throughout this process. Conducts evaluations consistent with and appropriate for patient diagnosis. Designs a treatment plan that is goal-oriented based upon interpretation of evaluation results and patient's personal goals. Establishes goals that are functional, measurable and attainable. Performs re-evaluations per department criteria with modifications/updating of goals as dictated by patient's progress.
Requirements :
Graduate of an accredited Speech therapy/CFY can apply too. California licensed Salary and Benefits Competitive rates for part-time employees 95K-120K per year for full-time employees retirement benefits, health insurance, PTO Flexible hours
