Job Description

The Business Analyst will be responsible to perform analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict and enhance Supply Chain processes and system. Responsible to gather data and provide analytical support/direction for Value Analysis projects. Operate as business liaison between Supply Chain, IT, and Finance. Associate's degree required.

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience Required:
Preference will be given to applicants with related work experience, at least 1-3 years related and progressive experience in Supply Chain and currently enrolled in an Associate's degree. License and/or

Knowledge of:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external customers. Familiarity with methods of purchasing, supplier partnership, inventory control, shipping, receiving and accounting, as well as procurement, regulations, policies and procedures.
Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer). Ability to navigate and manage multiple information systems including ERP system (Lawson), and other databases (Omnicell).
Ability to:
Ability to interact respectfully with other employees, professional staff and/or external contacts to offer ideas, identify issues, obtain information, or deliver services. Provide a high level of customer service to patients, staff, and external customers in a professional service-oriented, respectful manner using active listening and problem solving. Functional Skills/Knowledge Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze supply chain purchase data, spend history, revenue and contract compliance/performance. Experience with end-to-end supply chain lifecycle from point of purchase to inventory & distribution processes. Proficient in the Lawson financial and Supply Chain modules. Demonstrate collaborative and respectful behavior. Identify opportunities to improve clinical and administrative processes. Data Systems Support as business liaison between Supply Chain, IT, and Finance. Perform data and process analysis to identify and understand supply chain issues and recommend improvement solutions. Responsible to define, analyze and monitor supply chain metrics to enhance supply chain business processes (open purchase orders, GHX discrepancies, fill rates, etc.). Interact and support all Supply Chain stakeholders (Warehouse, buyers, A/P, Rev cycle, etc.). Provide data and analytical support to Supply Chain leadership team and business owners. Contract, Spend & Value Analysis Analytics and Performance Analyst to gather and interpret relevant supply chain data (purchasing, cost, demand and spend patterns, revenue, etc.). Direct and support MIS specialist on various analyses. Operate within price prediction and benchmarking tools to monitor spend trends and identify standardization and cost reduction opportunities. Interact with Clinical Value Analysis and Strategic Sourcing Manager to provide analytical support for Value Analysis and Contract projects and proposals. Ensure high level of compliance with local and GPO contracts by measuring market share, commitment and spending. Analyze entire portfolio of local and GPO contracts to further identify standardization opportunities. Interact/Support Clinical Value Analysis and Strategic Sourcing Manager to monitor and ensure GPO Standardization Program compliance. Search for less costly ways of doing things.
