Job Description
I. Job Summary Under general supervision, acts as a liaison between Technology and the business of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Conducts intermediate level business process analysis, needs assessments and preliminary cost / benefit analysis in an effort to align Technology solutions with business initiatives. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Acts as a liaison between technical staff and business owners. Coordinates with users to determine and document business and user requirements, process flow definitions, and functional specifications. Documents requirements and reviews test plans with QA and other partner groups prior to requesting business user testing. Responsible for document repositories, maintenance and updates of project documentation library. Assists project team with gaining business user acceptance. Reviews progress and evaluates results for accuracy and efficiency. III. Qualifications A. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience. 3 years of prior work experience as an IT Business Analyst (in addition to education requirement). B. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with enterprise reporting and analytics platforms, including Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. Understanding of semantic models, business-friendly data definitions, and enterprise data governance practices. Ability to bridge business strategy, operational processes, and analytical solutions to drive data-informed decision making. Experience partnering with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data and reporting solutions.
