(BIT, LLC) Project Coordinator / Business Analyst (Junior PM) United States Capitol Police, Office of Information Services Location United States Capitol Police, Southwest Washington, DC (499 South Capitol Street SW) Schedule Full-Time. Core hours 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Minimum 2 days on-site per week, up to 3 days telework, after a mandatory 2-month full-time on-site acclimation period. Personnel Status Non-Key Personnel Security Must be able to pass a criminal history check and fingerprinting, and be issued a USCP identification/access badge, prior to starting work. Employment Type Contract, contingent on award About the Role This role supports IT project delivery within a PMO by facilitating requirements gathering, managing backlogs, assisting Agile/Kanban/Waterfall ceremonies, and supporting general project coordination activities, working closely with stakeholders, developers, and project managers. What You'll Do Support requirements gathering, user story development, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement in tools such as JIRA and Teams Planner. Assist with sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies. Support UAT planning, documentation, and coordination activities as needed. Maintain project documentation in Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, or similar platforms. Prepare and update project materials including schedules, agendas, status reports, and action logs. Coordinate project meetings, capture meeting notes, and follow up on assigned actions. Support milestone tracking, timeline updates, and dependency monitoring under PM direction. Assist with PMO governance activities, including risk/issue tracking and routing documents for review and approval. Provide communication support by developing draft stakeholder updates and reporting inputs. Perform general PMO support as needed, including data entry, project record maintenance, and logistics coordination. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree. 5+ years of experience providing administrative, coordination, or project support services. Ability to organize information, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate project documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience using collaboration and workflow tools, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Teams Planner, and Planner Premium. Preferred Qualifications Certification in Business Analysis or Agile practices (e.g., ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, CSPO). Experience working with Agile delivery tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Ability to perform basic data analysis and create process models or workflow diagrams. Familiarity with project management concepts, workflows, and tools; experience supporting IT projects.
