IT Business Systems Analyst-Level 2

Job Summary We are seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst - Level 2 to analyze business processes, support system implementations, and deliver technology solutions aligned with business needs. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, supporting critical applications, and driving improvements through strong analytical and technical expertise. Key Responsibilities Analyze business processes and translate requirements into clear functional specifications Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios, validate solutions, and ensure system functionality Monitor and evaluate solution performance and recommend improvements Support project management activities including planning, tracking, and reporting Perform IT budget forecasting and contribute to financial planning Develop, maintain, and optimize Excel-based solutions including VBA automation and integrations Gather and analyze requirements for system enhancements and updates Support application releases, documentation, and communication with stakeholders Perform functional and end-to-end testing of applications and Excel-based tools Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions Maintain documentation for system integrations and application updates Support day-to-day operations of business-critical applications Required Qualifications 6+ years of experience in business analysis, IT systems analysis, or technology implementation Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field Strong experience with Excel, including VBA automation, macros, and API integrations Experience with business intelligence tools such as SAP, BOBJ, or BPC Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies including story writing and backlog management Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience in application support and issue resolution Preferred Qualifications Experience in energy or trading domains, including ISO/RTO market systems Experience creating process maps using tools such as OneNote, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Power BI for reporting, dashboards, and trend analysis
