Business Analyst II - Title & Escrow Position Summary We are seeking a Business Analyst II to serve as the liaison between business users and IT within the Title & Escrow industry. This role is responsible for supporting business applications, gathering and documenting requirements, improving business processes, and delivering reporting solutions that enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience with Title & Escrow operations, SoftPro, and business systems analysis, along with strong analytical and communication skills. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to support system enhancements, reporting initiatives, and process improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between business users and IT for Title & Escrow applications.
Support production systems by troubleshooting application and process issues through resolution.
Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased operational efficiency.
Develop reports and support business reporting needs using SQL and business intelligence tools.
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), validate system enhancements, and support production releases.
Assist with change management activities related to application updates and system enhancements.
Perform quarterly SOX compliance reviews for applicable business systems.
Create and maintain process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
Participate in cross-functional projects to standardize business processes and implement best practices.
Track project progress, communicate status updates, and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
Qualifications Experience supporting Title & Escrow operations and business processes.
Strong working knowledge of SoftPro.
Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
Proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables), and Microsoft Office.
Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or similar platforms.
Understanding of relational databases and data analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot business and system issues.
Experience supporting system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical teams, business users, and leadership.
Strong organizational skills with experience tracking project schedules and deliverables.
