Functional Analyst IV Contingent
Job Description
This is not a Government Position Functional Analyst IV -
Contingent Job Function and Duties:
- Analyze supply chain processes and architecture and provide recommended strategic-level courses of action for improvement.
- Provide change management support to the government customer.
- Apply knowledge of laws, policies, regulations and precedents applicable to logistics planning and program execution/sustainment.
- Develop recommendations for changes to Marine Corps policy.
- Develop briefings, documents, and other communications related to Strategic Logistics Services for executive or senior management staff.
- Facilitate meetings or conferences for strategic initiatives and improvements.
- Develop and provide trip reports for any conference meeting attended on direction from the government.
- Apply detailed knowledge and experience with Logistics Commands framework and concept for planning and execution in the following areas: o Strategic Planning o Metrics Management o Demand Forecasting o Allowance Setting o Backorder Management o Global Combat Support Systems-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) functionality and integration
- Any additional items that are typical of or related to the work of a Functional Analyst, any additional items that are typical of or related to the work of the Principal CPI Analyst.
Experience:
- Minimum of five to six (5-6) years in the following:
- Working with Military wholesale and retail logistics activities in Reparable/Consumable support.
- Management of Ground Equipment Secondary Items.
- 4. Leading strategic process re-engineering & development efforts
- Performance management framework for evaluating the effectiveness of Products & Services
- Supply chain business processes and architecture
- Providing training to affected employees, developing curriculum & materials, and classroom instruction to include specific training to launch re-engineered processes
Capabilities:
- Apply relative knowledge to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize and apply solutions
- Plan and organize work to successfully perform complex tasks
- Effectively and efficiently communicate, written and orally, to personnel at various status and rank Apply knowledge of the administrative processes and documentation requirements to logistics program execution and sustainment
