EST hours Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Data Business Systems Analyst to serve as the critical bridge between business stakeholders, enterprise architects, engineering teams, and key external vendors (including Zeta Marketing Platform). In this role, you will lead the design, enablement, and operationalization of data capabilities supporting modern, addressable messaging and audience activation. You will focus on transforming legacy file-based data exchanges into high-performing cloud-based and API-driven data workflows—ensuring high data quality, clear lineage, and scalable schema alignment across cloud environments and downstream email marketing platforms.

Document and manage end-to-end data flows, including source-to-target mappings, dependencies, and business rules. Coordinate delivery activities across technical and business teams to support project execution and milestone completion. Support testing efforts, including test planning, test case validation, defect triage, and issue resolution. Assist with go-live readiness, deployment coordination, and post-launch support. Work with stakeholders to reduce file-based processes by enabling cloud-based segmentation and data activation capabilities. Help ensure data is accurate, accessible, and usable to support downstream experiences and business needs. Analyze data issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with teams to drive resolution and improve data quality. Maintain clear documentation of requirements, process flows, data definitions, and operational support procedures. Act as a conduit between technical and non-technical partners to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications (Required) 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role supporting data-driven initiatives. Hands-on experience working with SQL, Pyspark and Snowflake in a data delivery or analytics environment. 5+ years of experience working with a variety of data storage and processing environments, including cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/ Redshift), Lakehouse platforms (Databricks), distributed storage (Hive), and traditional RDBMS (Oracle). 4+ years of experience in Agile environments, using Jira for project tracking and Confluence for documentation. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business needs, data structures, and technical requirements. Experience supporting cross-functional delivery efforts, including requirements gathering, testing, and implementation support. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with external vendors, architects, developers, and business stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document complex data processes clearly. Experience working in agile or iterative delivery environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities and support deadline-driven initiatives.
Preferred Experience:
Experience supporting Snowflake Share or similar data sharing solutions. Exposure to Data Infrastructure for email platforms (Zeta Marketing Platform preferred), customer data platforms, or segmentation workflows. Experience helping transition from file-based data processes to cloud-based or API-driven workflows. Familiarity with data quality practices, data lineage, and operational support for production data environments. Experience supporting marketing, activation, or customer experience data use cases.
Success Measures:
The Contractor will be considered successful when they help: Reduce reliance on file-based data processes. Enable data availability to support downstream experiences and business activation needs. Improve data quality and consistency across the Zeta platform and related data flows. Deliver clear requirements, documentation, and coordination support that helps keep work moving through design, testing, and go-live. Strengthen collaboration across vendor, architecture, development, and business teams.
