Job Description

Job Description Day-to-Day:
Insight Global is looking to hire a Rapid7 Vulnerability Management Consultant in Cedar Rapids, IA. This individual will lead the implementation and deployment of a vulnerability management program utilizing Rapid7 InsightVM across approximately 400 assets in a hybrid cloud environment. They will install and configure agents, validate asset inventory, establish authenticated scanning, and ensure all supported endpoints, servers, network devices, and cloud assets are incorporated into the program. The consultant will develop the full vulnerability management lifecycle, including discovery, triage, remediation, verification, and exception handling processes. They will create dashboards and reports for both technical teams and executive leadership, document system configurations and operational procedures, develop SOPs, and provide training and knowledge transfer to internal IT staff. Skills and Requirements Must Have:
3+ years of vulnerability management experience in enterprise environments Hands-on experience implementing and administering Rapid7 InsightVM or a comparable vulnerability management platform Experience performing authenticated vulnerability scans across servers, endpoints, network devices, and cloud environments Experience creating vulnerability management processes, SOPs, documentation, and reporting Experience supporting vulnerability remediation efforts and validating fixes through rescans
Plusses:
Direct experience deploying and tuning Rapid7 InsightVM Experience in hybrid Azure and on-prem infrastructure environments Experience building executive dashboards and vulnerability reporting for leadership teams Experience with Windows and Linux server environments Previous consulting or project-based implementation experience
