Less than 10% Position Summary We are seeking a Business Analyst I to join our IT Development team. This position serves as a bridge between business users and IT, helping identify business needs, document requirements, analyze processes, and support the development and implementation of technology solutions. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, customer-focused, and comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Business Analyst who wants to develop their skills while contributing to projects that improve business processes and technology solutions.
What You'll Do:
Requirements Gathering & Documentation Work with business users and stakeholders to gather, understand, and document business and user requirements. Document requirements, conditions, functionality, products, and services for internal or external use. Develop an understanding of the business need and existing processes before proposing solutions. Assist with organizing and preparing clear and comprehensive Business Requirements Documentation (BRD). Business & Process Analysis Assist in developing current-state ("as-is") process models to document, validate, communicate, and organize requirements. Utilize business, process, data, and workflow models to analyze requirements and business processes. Assist with functional decomposition of current processes to create clear and understandable models. Use modeling and analysis techniques to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency. Testing & Implementation Support Assist with system and application testing as needed. Help validate that technology solutions meet documented business requirements. Work with end users following deployment to answer questions, clarify functionality, and support successful adoption. IT & Business Partnership Develop an understanding of the IT products, applications, and tools necessary to support business operations. Identify and engage appropriate technical resources to help define and validate requirements and specifications. Communicate effectively with end users, business stakeholders, and IT team members throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in translating business needs into clear requirements that can be understood and implemented by technical teams.
Qualifications:
Required Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience . 1-3 years of related experience preferred. Experience or demonstrated ability in business analysis, requirements gathering, process documentation, data analysis, or a related area. Ability to analyze information and translate business needs into clear, organized requirements. Strong professional written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work collaboratively with business users, IT professionals, and other stakeholders. Comfortable learning new technologies, systems, and business processes.
