Position Summary:

The AI Business Analyst will work directly with the CEO to identify, evaluate, and implement opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence, automation, data, and emerging technologies to improve business operations and decision-making. This position is designed for an early-career professional with a strong interest and background in AI who is eager to learn, grow, and develop into a key contributor within the organization. The AI Business Operations Analyst will support the CEO and leadership team by conducting research, analyzing business data, evaluating AI tools and technologies, developing reports and presentations, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and helping implement AI-driven solutions across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly curious, technologically savvy, analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change. This role provides significant exposure to executive leadership, business strategy, AI implementation, and cross-functional operations, with the opportunity to grow responsibilities as knowledge and experience develop.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive & Business Support:

Work directly with the CEO to support business initiatives, research, analysis, reporting, presentations, and special projects.

AI Research & Evaluation:

Research emerging AI technologies, tools, platforms, and industry trends; evaluate their potential applications and business value; and make recommendations to leadership.

AI Implementation:

Assist in identifying, testing, and implementing AI tools and solutions that can improve productivity, efficiency, communication, decision-making, and business processes.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Collect, organize, analyze, and interpret business data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop dashboards, reports, summaries, and presentations for leadership.

Process Improvement & Automation:

Identify repetitive or inefficient processes and evaluate opportunities to use AI, automation, and technology to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.

Executive Research:

Conduct targeted research on markets, competitors, customers, technologies, industry trends, and business opportunities to support executive decision-making.

AI Prompt Development:

Develop, test, and refine effective prompts and AI workflows for business applications, including research, analysis, content development, reporting, and process automation.

AI Tool Management :

Assist with the evaluation and organization of AI tools and platforms used throughout the organization. Document best practices and help establish consistent and responsible AI usage.

Project Support:

Assist with innovation, technology, and business improvement initiatives from initial concept through implementation including maintaining project documentation, timelines, action items, and deliverables.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with employees and leaders across various departments to understand business needs and identify opportunities where AI, data, and technology can provide value.

Presentations & Communication:

Develop clear, professional presentations and executive summaries that communicate research findings, data insights, recommendations, and AI opportunities.

Continuous Learning:

Stay current with rapidly evolving AI technologies, tools, trends, and best practices and continuously expand knowledge of AI applications in business.

Confidentiality & Professionalism:

Handle sensitive business information appropriately and exercise sound judgment when working directly with executive leadership.

Other Duties:

Perform additional analytical, operational, research, and special-project responsibilities as assigned by the CEO.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in AI, data analytics, business analysis, technology, automation, research, or a related field. Recent graduates with strong project, or personal AI experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and emerging AI technologies, including familiarity with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), AI assistants, prompt engineering, automation, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools effectively for research, analysis, problem-solving, content development, and business applications.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret information, identify patterns, and develop practical recommendations.
• Strong research skills and the ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technologies, industries, and business concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, or comparable productivity and data-analysis tools.
• Experience with data visualization, dashboards, SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytical tools is preferred.
• Experience with AI platforms, automation tools, APIs, prompt engineering, or workflow automation is highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to work independently while also knowing when to ask questions, seek guidance, and collaborate with others.
• Strong desire to grow professionally and develop expertise in AI, business operations, and executive-level decision support.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when working with executive leadership and sensitive business information.

Qualifications:

• AI-related certifications, coursework, projects, internships, or demonstrated personal experience.
• Experience building AI workflows, agents, automations, chatbots, or custom AI solutions.
• Familiarity with APIs, no-code/low-code automation platforms, or AI integration tools.
• Experience with data analytics, visualization, or business intelligence.
• Knowledge of Agile, Lean, process improvement, or project management methodologies.
• Experience presenting research, analysis, or recommendations to leadership.
• Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies and their practical application within business environments.

This job primarily operates in a professional office setting, but the role may require occasional travel.

Physical Demands:

This role requires the ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
