- Contract About the Opportunity Hills Leadership & Training Institute, LLC is building a vetted bench of independent consultants to support future business consulting, leadership development, and organizational improvement projects.
We are seeking experienced 1099 consultants who can support one or more of the following areas: Organizational Development Executive Coaching Team Development Performance Management Change Management Strategic Planning This is not a full-time employee position. This is an opportunity to be considered for project-based consulting work as client needs and opportunities arise. About HLTI Hills Leadership & Training Institute, LLC provides practical, people-centered consulting and training solutions that help organizations strengthen leadership, improve team performance, manage change, align strategy, and improve workplace outcomes. We are looking for consultants who can bring professionalism, strong communication skills, practical experience, and the ability to produce client-ready work. Possible Project Work May Include Organizational assessments Leadership coaching Executive coaching Team development workshops Strategic planning facilitation Change readiness assessments Change management planning Performance improvement support Goal-setting and implementation roadmaps Stakeholder interviews or focus groups Training and facilitation Communication planning Development of reports, action plans, briefings, and recommendations Ideal Consultant Profile The ideal consultant has experience working with organizations to improve leadership, communication, team performance, change adoption, strategy, or organizational effectiveness. Strong candidates may have backgrounds in: Organizational development Human resources Leadership development Executive coaching Team facilitation Change management Strategic planning Workforce development Training and facilitation Performance improvement Public-sector, government, military, nonprofit, healthcare, education, or corporate consulting Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of relevant consulting, coaching, facilitation, training, leadership, HR, or organizational development experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to facilitate virtual or in-person meetings, workshops, or coaching sessions Ability to create professional reports, presentations, plans, or client deliverables Experience working independently and meeting deadlines Public-sector, government, military, nonprofit, healthcare, education, or large-organization experience preferred Certifications such as ICF, SHRM, HRCI, Prosci, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, ATD, DiSC, MBTI, EQ-i, or similar credentials are a plus but not required Consultant Levels of Interest We are interested in consultants who may qualify for one or more of the following levels: Principal / Managing Consultant Senior Consultant Consultant Analyst Administrative or Project Support What to Submit Interested consultants should submit: Resume or professional bio Short summary of your consulting areas of expertise Relevant certifications, if applicable Examples of similar projects or client work Hourly rate or rate range General availability for project-based work Confirmation that you are open to 1099 independent contractor opportunities Independent Contractor Notice This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity.
