Quality Systems Consultant for a high-impact contract or fractional engagement focused on strengthening and simplifying our Quality Management System. Hands-on

expertise is required. The consultant will assess the current system, close priority gaps, improve audit readiness, and establish practical processes that can be sustained internally. A key deliverable is training a designated in-house teammate to confidently maintain the system after the engagement. Key Responsibilities Assess the current Quality Management System against
ISO 9001
requirements and develop a focused 30-, 60-, and 90-day improvement plan. Review and streamline the Quality Manual, procedures, work instructions, forms, records, and document control practices. Strengthen internal audits, corrective actions, root cause analysis, calibration, supplier quality, training records, risk management, and management review processes as needed. Support ISO and customer audit preparation, responses, and timely closure of findings. Partner with process owners to integrate quality requirements into day to day business practices and improve consistency across the organization. Train and coach, the designated in-house teammate through hands-on knowledge transfer and provide a clear handoff plan for ongoing Quality Management System maintenance. experience is required. Strong working knowledge of

requirements, internal auditing, corrective action, root cause analysis, document control, risk-based thinking, and management review. Demonstrated experience preparing for ISO certification, surveillance, customer, or other external quality audits and closing findings. Proven ability to simplify quality processes, implement practical solutions, and train internal personnel to maintain the system. Quality systems experience in engineering, industrial services, manufacturing, energy, oil and gas, automation, or a similar technical environment, with strong communication and follow-through. Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor training and relevant ASQ certification. Exposure to
API Q1, API Q2, ISO
17025, turbomachinery, industrial automation, or project based engineering environments. Compensation and Schedule Contract or fractional engagement.
