Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business/Financial Analyst to support financial and operational performance in Haverhilll, Massachusetts. This role focuses on product costing, inventory analysis, and month-end activities within a manufacturing environment, while partnering closely with sourcing, warehouse, and production teams. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, communicates financial insights clearly, and helps turn complex data into practical business actions.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead monthly cost simulation activities and annual standard cost updates with a strong focus on accuracy, timing, and issue resolution.
  • Research costing exceptions and work with cross-functional partners to correct discrepancies and address underlying causes.
  • Monitor cost improvement initiatives, measure their financial effect, and provide regular updates that keep stakeholders aligned on progress.
  • Support inventory close processes by reconciling records, posting required entries, and analyzing differences between subledger and general ledger balances.
  • Review inventory-related costs, including adjustments, scrap, and revaluation impacts, and explain notable variances.
  • Prepare recurring inventory analyses covering reserves, restricted stock, goods receipts, last-time-buy materials, and month-over-month balance movements.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce inventory levels through data-driven insight, and contribute to forecasting inventory values and related cost impacts.
  • Perform standard cost variance analysis, record required accounting entries, and assist with audit requests tied to inventory and costing matters.
