We are seeking a collaborative and analytically minded Business System Analyst I to help translate business needs into effective technology solutions. In this highly visible role, you will serve as a key connector among business stakeholders, Product Owners, project teams, and technology partners-turning complex ideas into clear use cases, business requirements, and user stories that guide successful delivery. You will facilitate requirements and process-improvement discussions, coordinate across departments, support product discovery and adoption, and help resolve business issues as they arise. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys asking thoughtful questions, organizing detailed information, solving problems, and helping cross-functional teams deliver practical improvements within an agile environment. Works with the Project Team, Business Technology and Business to assure detailed use cases and business requirements are created. Uses professional techniques such as facilitating, JAD sessions, BPR sessions that result in requirements gathering and analysis of need. Coordinates with various departments to determine business needs and prepare the requirements. Partners with Product Owners for training, tech spotlights, etc. to ensure business user group is fully utilizing new efficiencies. Research, diagnoses, and performs issue resolution when business problems arise. Partners closely with Product Owner to ensure discovery aligns with product roadmap priority. Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan. Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned. Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. BA/BS in business or technical field or equivalent work-related experience and training 2+ years relevant Business System Analyst/Business Analyst and agile development, framework, principals, and practices Proficient with Microsoft Office, common diagramming tools, and project/issue management tools (e.g. Project, Jira) Strong in leading requirement gathering meetings and documenting User Stories. Proficient in project and development lifecycles Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Ability to write SQL queries. Ability to lead, motivate and energize team members to accomplish project deliverables.
