Manage the Shelf-Life Extension Program (SLEP) to defer drug replacement costs, serving as the primary liaison with the FDA/CDER and maintaining the annual testing schedule. Direct and monitor medical logistics support to Combatant Commands and other partners. Establish and manage SLEP Interagency Agreements with participating agencies. Engage in long-range strategic planning for War Reserve logistics support. Serve as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for the SLEP support contract. Requirements Help Conditions of employment A Personnel Security Investigation is required. This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required. Specialized Experience:

One year of specialized experience which includes (1) Overseeing medical logistics support operations to sustain command readiness, (2) managing logistics policies and/or programs to ensure compliance with DoD requirements, & (3) monitoring medical logistics operations to resolve readiness issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
