ALRE Program Analyst, Journeyman Job Responsibilities:
Provides program/project support to the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Program Office (PMA-251). In supporting the Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) and Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) Team, tasks include applying analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives; analyzing requirements, status, budget and schedules; and performing management, technical, or business case analyses. Other duties may include collecting, completing, organizing, and interpreting data relating to aircraft/project acquisition and product programs; tracking program/project status and schedules; and applying government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. Some travel will be required. Positional duties may include other tasks on an as-needed basis. Qualifications & Requirements:
Requires an BA/BS degree and a minimum of three (3) years of experience performing duties as described above.
ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION
AA/AS degree with an additional two (2) years of experience OR a high school diploma/GED and an additional four (4) years of experience. Must be a US citizen, have a valid state driver's license, and must possess an active DoD Secret-level security clearance. Experience with NAVAIR Acquisition Management System (AMS) Procurement Management Tool (PMT) and Common m Spend Plan Tool (CSPT), Acquisition Program Health Monitoring (APHM), Acquisition Management (ACQ MAT), Clik, and MS Office (including Project) programs is highly desired/preferred.
Salary Range:
