Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed requirements for projects involving data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development Design and implement data models that support efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis within SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or other business intelligence platforms to visualize key metrics Conduct comprehensive data analysis utilizing Excel data analysis techniques, R programming, Python scripting, and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity Support the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, testing, deployment, and maintenance of analytics solutions Manage query optimization and query management tasks to enhance system performance across SQL databases and data warehouses Assist in database design efforts for linked data integration and ensure adherence to best practices in database architecture Utilize scripting languages such as VBA or Bash (Unix shell) for automation of routine tasks and report generation Participate in Agile project management practices to deliver iterative improvements on analytics products Ensure compliance with data governance standards while maintaining high levels of technical proficiency in analytics tools Qualifications Proven experience as a Business Analyst with strong understanding of business analysis principles and techniques. Proficiency in SQL querying, database design, and query management within SQL Server. $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
