About the RoleThe Business Operations Analyst plays a key role in shaping and delivering IRAD and departmental initiatives, with a strong focus on planning, coordination, and portfolio support. In this position, you willhelpdevelop proposals, align budgets, schedules, and resources, and provide data-driven insights that improve decision-making across multiple projects. You will oversee the dynamic showcase facility, optimizing space utilization, advancing A/V technologies, and orchestrating events and VIP demonstrations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, or a similar field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.8-10+ years of experience inoperations management, including customer/VIP-facing responsibilities.
Track record of overcoming obstacles to complete projects on-time and on-budget.
Demonstrated initiative and superior time-management and organizational skills.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills; comfortable interacting with senior leaders and external visitors.
Proven success coordinating across multiple internal teams.
Experience with proposal writing and budgets desired.
Responsibilities to
Manage A/V and collaboration technologies and support meetings, demos, events, and VIP visitsand overseeing technology upgrades/obsolescence.
Collaborate closely with IT, Engineering, Facilities, and other stakeholders to support the operation, maintenance, and improvement of facilities, labs, and equipment, and to design safe, functional, and flexible spaces and storage solutions.
Coordinate procurement and Supply Chain Management activitiestobuild and maintain inventories of laboratory and IT assets, managing obsolescence, upgrades, and technology-related needs.
Plan, track, and execute IRAD and departmental projects and budgets from concept through final demonstrations, including schedules, milestones, reviews, manpower, and resource demand.
Support IRAD and departmental project portfolios by helping develop proposals, providing datadriven decision support to project teams, and reviewing schedules/resources across efforts to identify overlaps and perform synchronization analyses that minimize waste.
Standardize, document, and improve business and operational processes; pilot new management tools and conduct research to support facility, lab,and equipment investments.
Build strong relationships and communication across all staff levels; represent GDLS to senior leadership and global clients, and lead outreach and partnership activities to support operations and organizational objectives.
