MANAGEMENT
ANALYST, GS-0343-10, you will provide informion and analyses to all levels of management using the assessments to answer the why, how, when and where questions. 1. Retrieve and analyze maintenance da, present results to management. Interprets findings from maintenance da and the use of stistical techniques. Identifies trends and significant deviions from plans, schedules, and workload estimes. Analyzes deficiencies in areas such as merial consumption and training, workload, scheduling, management, and maintenance resources use. Analyzes impact on the maintenance mission and the results of corrective actions. Prepares written reports of analyses and studies. Capture specific da monthly for inclusion into the Aircraft Predictive Model (APM) requirement. Designs summary reports to meet recurring management needs. 2. Controls, manages and maintains the Maintenance Informion System(s) (MIS). Develops policies and procedures for MIS applicion within maintenance activities. Oversees the identificion and correction of file errors within the dabase. Controls, develops and coordines maintenance da systems and requirements. Determines da processing requirements and reles functional aspects to specific hardware and software capabilities. Controls automed management product retrieval and advises maintenance supervision on automed informion use. Identifies da system problems, coordining with da automion monitors, and submits system deficiency reports. Identifies new informion requirements, submits informion system requirement documents, and coordines with da system development services for implementing new programs. Manage the Da Integrity Team (DIT) program for the Maintenance Group Commander and provide updes and metrics to maintenance supervision Responsible for building, analyzing, and programing system queries to genere local and command level da reports for consumption and informion generion in multiple systems. Senior level requests ranging from senior wing leadership, the NGB, and MAJCOM levels. 3. Conducts Special Studies to assess Health of the Unit Readiness (HUR). Performs in-depth comprehensive analysis of complex and prioritized unit readiness issues. In addition, develops a semi-annual report for presention to senior leadership. Develops complex problem solutions to address and resolve readiness issues as the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR), while utilizing specific training and knowledge to develop a comprehensive readiness management plan. Collect specific metrics for inclusion into the 7401 monthly report, while searching for trends and validing accuracy. 4. Analyzes performance da to determine manpower, equipment, and facilities maintenance capabilities. Provides in-depth analysis of maintenance manning and equipment, merial and facility limitions to determine the impact each has on unit and mission effectiveness. Isoles trends and determines merial and personnel efficiency and effectiveness. Develops methods for improving maintenance planning and personnel efficiency and effectiveness. Develops methods for improving maintenance planning and programming procedures to ensure optimum use of maintenance resources. 5. Performs other duties as assigned. NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED
: This is an excepted service position th requires membership in a compible military assignment in the Nional Guard. Selectee required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE
: Experience, educion, or training in administrive, professional, investigive, technical or other responsible work which demonstres analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes and principles of management. Experience using computer and automion systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
: Must have least 24 months experience which has provided a working knowledge of the Nional Guard organizional structures, functions, procedures, and techniques.
