Description and Requirements The Enterprise AI Technology Strategy team enables Lenovo to make better technology investment decisions by identifying emerging opportunities, generating strategic options, evaluating trade-offs, aligning stakeholders, and translating technology insight into business impact. As part of the CTO Organization, this team helps determine where Lenovo should play, how it can win, and where it should invest, partner, or accelerate across AI and emerging technologies. This position is working in the heart of the most significant technology strategy planning and development group in the CTO Organization. Lead enterprise-level assessments of emerging AI technologies, ecosystem developments, industry shifts, and competitive dynamics to identify strategic opportunities and risks. Develop technology outlooks, strategic perspectives, investment theses, future scenarios, and recommendations that shape Lenovo's long-term AI and technology strategy. Lead the evaluation of AI platforms, agentic AI frameworks, enterprise AI architectures, and emerging technology ecosystems to determine strategic implications and investment priorities. Apply strategic frameworks to evaluate alternatives, assess trade-offs, and recommend where Lenovo should invest, partner, accelerate, differentiate, or intentionally not compete. Shape innovation priorities and strategic direction across R D organizations. Drive enterprise alignment across CTO Organization, Business Units, Research leadership, and executive stakeholders around shared technology priorities and strategic outcomes. Translate complex technology trends into clear decision frameworks and executive recommendations. Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives that align technology investments with long-term business objectives. Facilitate executive discussions, strategic planning activities, decision forums, and stakeholder alignment efforts. Support strategic execution by connecting technology strategy to planning, governance, investment, and operational processes. Serve as a trusted advisor to CTO leadership and other senior leaders on AI and emerging technology strategy. Mentor team members and help elevate strategic thinking and analytical rigor across the organization.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Technology Management, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, corporate strategy, innovation, management consulting, enterprise architecture, product strategy, or related disciplines. Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale technology strategy initiatives and influencing senior leadership decisions. Experience developing strategic recommendations, investment theses, business cases, and executive-level communications. Experience engaging with cross-functional stakeholders across technology, research, product, engineering, and business organizations. Proven record of translating emerging technology trends into strategic business decisions and organizational action. Understanding of enterprise AI concepts including foundation models, agentic AI, RAG, model evaluation, orchestration, AI governance, and enterprise AI platforms.Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related discipline, including MBA. Experience working within large global technology organizations. Hands-on experience building, deploying, or evaluating enterprise AI and agentic AI solutions. Experience leading strategic planning, portfolio management, investment governance, or corporate development initiatives. Experience facilitating executive workshops, planning sessions, and decision-making forums. Background in top-tier strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or senior product strategy roles. PAY TRANSPARENCY
The anticipated annual compensation range for this position is 160,600-246,215 USD . Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions.
