Job Description
Overview The Senior Manager of Business Analytics & Insights is responsible for the development of actionable insights that drive decision-making across the organization. This role must translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that influence business outcomes, connecting business strategy, insights, and storytelling. Through partnership across functional teams, this role fosters understanding of business challenges, designs intuitive dashboards, and delivers insights that inform strategy and operations. In particular, this role focuses on guest data to identify opportunities and support marketing activation. Responsibilities Lead the development of dashboards and visualizations that surface key business metrics and trends. Translate data into actionable insights through compelling storytelling and presentations. Partner with business units to understand their goals and deliver analytics that support strategic decision-making. Identify opportunities for performance improvement and operational efficiency using data-driven analysis. Serve as a thought leader in data interpretation and insight generation across the enterprise. Collaborate with technical analytics teams to ensure business needs are translated into data requirements. Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making. Develop taxonomies for 'guest plays' to provide an understandable foundation for analytics, including developing Power BI report requirements and reports. Partner with other Alex Lee functions (i.e. - pricing, eComm, etc.) to resolve any identified issues / concerns. Responsible to present and regularly report the results of guest-centric activations to marketing, merchandising, and operations. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in business analytics, data visualization, or strategic insights roles. Proven ability to translate data into business narratives and actionable recommendations. Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker). Strong communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership. Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority. Familiarity with basic data concepts and analytical modeling, and comfort working with data teams, but not required to code. #LI-JE1
