Job Description

Position Summary The Supply Chain Systems Analyst is responsible for the management, system planning, implementation, enhancements and ongoing support of the Supply Chain Information System (SCIS), and serves as the liaison between the Supply Chain Department and SCIS users, with the exception of new user setup and access changes. Additionally, the analyst will work with multiple data sources across business lines to develop new capabilities,will utilize emerging technology and is responsible for identifying issues, creating solutions and resolving business problems through data mining and analysis. Demonstrates high degree of technical competencies in all aspects of job performance Primary Position Responsibilities Acts as SME on all SCIS matters and or issues, liaises with the Information Technology Department to manage and optimize the Supply Chain portions of any and all HHS systems, both current and future state, and provides all requested and required education to staff and HHS community customers. Develops outcome oriented workplans and manages project activities and deliverables, and provides technical assistance and consultation to departments regarding project activities. Provides a first point of contact for Supply Chain staff for problem resolution and process redesign Supports, evaluates and implements advanced technology to improve overall Supply Chain management processes by using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and or E-Commerce initiatives Assists with development and implementation of procedures and programs to achieve an improve customer service levels Provides reporting and data extracts to Supply Chain leadership in actionable formatting and assists with interpretations and implementation of subsequent decisions. Develops and delivers appropriate training material to all end users and continually updates as technology changes
Qualifications Minimum Education :
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in IT, Statistics,Supply Chain, Mathematics or related area.
Preferred:
None Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation) :
Required:
2 years data analytics, 1 year in a Supply Chain setting
Preferred:
3-5 years data analytics, 2 years in a Healthcare Supply Chain setting
License, Registry or Certification :

None Knowledge, Skills and/or
Abilities :
Required:
Must be proficient in
Microsoft Excel Preferred:
