Position:
Program Overview Rockefeller Capital Management offers a distinctive Summer Analyst Program experience as a premier independent financial advisory firm. Our diversified businesses, boutique size, and entrepreneurial culture shape a dynamic, personalized experience for our Analysts. Our Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel. Key highlights of the program include: Mentorship program to support learning and development. Weekly speaker series to promote a deep understanding of the firm, our culture and share personal perspectives from employees. Intensive training on our business model and how employees of the firm contribute to achieving our goals. Frequent connectivity with other Summer Analysts and our program team. Round table discussions on current events with macro and micro relevance to our business. Opportunities to exchange ideas and network with peers, mentors, and senior leaders throughout the firm. Eligibility and Selection Criteria To be eligible for consideration, students must be projected 2028 graduates and in good standing at the school. Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact.
POSITION
The Practice Management Summer Analyst will support the Practice Management Team in advancing advisor team effectiveness, business growth, operational efficiency, and scalable execution across Rockefeller Global Family Office. The Summer Analyst will partner with the Practice Management Team and cross-functional stakeholders to gather information, organize inputs, build support analytics, maintain execution tools, and help translate practice management priorities into actionable workstreams. The role is execution-oriented and provides exposure to wealth management, advisor team operating models, business planning, client experience, platform adoption, and practice management strategy.
Responsibilities:
Execution Support & Project Coordination :
Support the practice management initiatives by maintaining project plans, trackers, timelines, action logs, meeting notes, and follow-up items; help ensure workstreams remain organized and moving forward.
Data Gathering & Analysis:
Assist in collecting, organizing, and summarizing business inputs and support data related to advisor teams, business planning, team structure, growth opportunities, operational processes, and engagement activities.
Tools, Trackers & Reporting:
Create and maintain Excel-based tools, dashboards, templates, and reporting materials that help the Practice Management Team assess needs, monitor progress, identify themes, and support decision-making.
Business Planning Support:
Assist with preparation for advisor business planning sessions, team assessments, strategy workshops, and follow-up execution by organizing pre-read materials, data summaries, agendas, outputs, and next-step documentation.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Partner with internal stakeholders across practice management, regional teams, business technology, operations, and other firm resources to gather information and support coordinated execution.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve consistency, strengthen documentation, and convert recurring work into reusable templates, checklists, or standard operating tools.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, data analytics, management, operations, communications, or a related field. Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize data, identify themes, summarize findings, and translate information into actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; comfort building structured trackers, tables, charts, summaries, and presentation-ready materials. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, professional materials for business audiences.
Compensation Range:
The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $35.00/hour. Hourly rate for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.
