As a Corporate Strategy Consultant, you will drive critical transformation of IBM by developing and applying knowledge of industry-specific and cross-industry competitive strategies. You will analyze problems, formulate hypotheses, develop insights, and deliver recommendations to drive growth and transformation, working with IBM Business Units to investigate new market opportunities and business models. You will bring outside-in perspectives that may challenge beliefs through data-driven analysis, working closely with internal clients across different IBM businesses to co-create strategies for change. Your strategic recommendations will drive change in a digitally-enabled era and give you the opportunity to collaborate with highly talented IBMers.

- IBM Corporate Strategy team is a small, specialized group that is part of the Strategy, Corporate Development, Investor Relations, and Ventures team.

- Your role and responsibilities
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Shape IBM C-Suite's decisions and strategic direction through project engagements
- Engage with Business Unit leaders to determine root causes to be evaluated, hypotheses to be tested, and business outcomes to be achieved
- Establish trusted relationships with internal client teams. Work with stakeholders across IBM to gather information, gain diverse perspectives, and deepen subject matter expertise
- Develop fact-based client, market, and competitor insights based on research, e.g., through primary interviews, analyst reports, and internal databases
- Produce and leverage insights as well as apply technical and operational expertise to identify issues, challenge the status quo, and co-create creative recommendations
- Translate ambiguity and complexity into structured approaches to solve problems and identify opportunities amid rapid technological and market disruptions
- Synthesize insights and recommendations into client presentations and facilitate dialog to clearly communicate findings to Business Unit leaders and senior executives
- Collaborate with client teams to implement and, in select circumstances, to manage pragmatic, bold, and actionable solutions

- Required technical and professional expertise
- Master's degree in Business Administration/Management, with proven business experience.
- Able to travel approximately 10% annually.
- Fluent in the English language.
