Job Description
This position is located at the Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New York.
You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 level that involved analyzing and managing financial or budget information, including monitoring expenditures and obligations, projecting future funding needs, and preparing cost estimates or financial reports; reviewing, maintaining, or tracking financial or budget records and preparing related reports, spreadsheets, or other financial documentation. ~OR~
You must possess equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level education (beyond the first year) and specialized experience to meet total experience requirements. Only graduate level education from an accredited college or university. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all specialized experience and time in grade requirements within 45 days of the closing date of this announcement, 09/18/2026. You may qualify for the GS-09 based on your education and/or experience, as described below:Time-In-Grade Requirement :
Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements within 45 days of the closing date of this announcement. For a GS09 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-07. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If your most recent non-award SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional non-award SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one year time-in-grade.
