Chery Group's headquarter is located in Garden City, Long Island, and was established in 2013, with locations in Maryland, North Carolina, Texas, California, and Canada (Montreal, Toronto). Chery Industrial is seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst to analyze company-wide operating data and support management decision-making. This role will consolidate and evaluate data across sales, purchasing, inventory, warehousing, logistics, e-commerce, auctions, finance, and other business functions. The analyst will develop reliable reporting, identify trends and performance gaps, and translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. Candidates with knowledge of or hands-on experience using AI tools for analytics, automation, forecasting, or decision support are preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, validate, and integrate data from multiple business systems and departments. Analyze company-wide sales, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, logistics, auction, e-commerce, and financial performance. Build and maintain KPI dashboards, recurring management reports, and ad hoc analyses. Identify trends, anomalies, operational gaps, cost-saving opportunities, and profit improvement opportunities. Work with department leaders to define metrics, verify data accuracy, and standardize reporting. Develop forecasting, performance tracking, and decision-support models. Explore and apply AI tools to improve data processing, reporting automation, forecasting, and business insights.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree in a related field is preferred. 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, operations analysis, or a related role. Strong Excel and SQL skills; experience with Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, or similar analytics tools is preferred. Ability to analyze complex business data and communicate findings clearly to management and non-technical teams. Strong attention to detail, data quality, problem-solving, and independent project management skills. Knowledge of or hands-on experience with AI tools, machine learning, analytics automation, or prompt-based workflows is preferred. Experience with ERP, WMS, e-commerce, supply chain, industrial equipment, or multi-channel operations is a plus. Mandarin language proficiency is preferred.
