Job Description

The Business Analyst Cost Optimization supports enterprise and regional cost optimization efforts by providing financial analysis, business insight, and data connectivity across Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance. This role partners closely with Finance leadership and business stakeholders to identify cost and margin opportunities, support operating reviews, and assess financial implications of commercial and operational decisions. The position applies a strong finance lens while maintaining deep connection to business activity, enabling leadership to understand how operational drivers flow through to financial results. The role is analytical and execution‑oriented, focused on enabling informed decision‑making rather than owning strategy or final decisions. Enables visibility and execution across all functional areas through ownership and administration of the Amplify project-tracking system and partnership with Business Analysts to ensure accurate, timely project reporting. Accelerates digital transformation and business adoption by leading the implementation and ongoing adoption of Salesforce, improving data quality, process efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration. Operating Reviews and Planning Support:
Assist with Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs) by region, including data gathering, analysis, and preparation of supporting materials. Provide analytical support for Long‑Range Planning (LRP), product reviews, functional operating reviews, and dynamic pricing discussions. Support trade spend analysis and margin performance tracking to enable fact‑based decision‑making.
Business Systems and Data Enablement:
Support ongoing implementation and adoption of Salesforce and related reporting capabilities, initially focused on North America. Help ensure data connectivity between commercial activity, supply chain execution, and financial outcomes. Create and maintain recurring and ad‑hoc analytical tools, reports, and dashboards.
Business Case and Project Support:
Assist in the preparation and review of business cases, including financial modeling, assumptions validation, and risk assessment. Provide analytical support to cross‑functional initiatives led by Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, or Operations. Apply basic project management discipline to track deliverables, timelines, and dependencies. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Management, or a related discipline. 5 or more years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Business Analysis, or Operational Finance, including experience working in or supporting a business unit, region, or commercial/operational function. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; ability to translate complex data into clear insights. Solid understanding of how operational and commercial activity impacts financial results.
