Position Summary:

In this role, you will help maintain and improve business applications, support data quality, build reports and dashboards, assist with system integrations, and help users adopt better technology-enabled processes. You will work with tools such as Quickbase, Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, Stratus, Excel, databases, APIs, and other business systems . This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience in data analytics, business systems, IT support, low-code development, systems integration, or a related area who is excited to grow in a hands-on construction and fabrication environment.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you'll support GSM's Technology Team by improving how data, systems, and business applications support operations, fabrication, project management, and leadership decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

Maintain and improve data quality across core business systems, including cleanup, validation, documentation, and consistency of key data fields. Build, maintain, and improve reports and dashboards using Quickbase, Power BI, and other reporting tools to support operational visibility and decision-making. Support low-code applications built in Quickbase, Microsoft Power Apps, and similar platforms, including troubleshooting, documentation, workflow improvements, and user support. Assist with system integrations, automation initiatives, and API-based data flows that connect tools across IT, operations, fabrication, and reporting platforms. Support the use and optimization of fabrication management software, including improving data entry, reporting, workflows, and system usability. Partner with technical and non-technical users to understand business needs, translate requirements into practical solutions, and support adoption of new tools and process improvements.

• Provide light desktop and end-user support related to business systems. Identify opportunities to simplify manual processes, improve visibility, and increase efficiency through better data, automation, reporting, and system design. Use AI tools responsibly to assist with development, documentation, data management, and process improvement work.

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:

2+ years of professional experience in data analytics, business systems, IT support, low-code development, systems integration, or a related role. Strong interest in data analysis, reporting, systems improvement, and business process optimization. Comfort working with structured data, AI tools, and reporting systems. Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with spreadsheets and data manipulation tools, especially Microsoft Excel. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving business needs. Interest in improving processes and driving operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with low-code platforms such as Quickbase, Power Apps, or similar tools . Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools. Experience with Stratus or similar fabrication management tools. Working knowledge of SQL or relational databases. Exposure to APIs, systems integrations, or automation workflows . Construction, manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial industry experience — helpful, but not required. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
