Job Description
Job Summary KCA Wealth is seeking a dedicated and experienced financial advisor to join as a full-time employee. This role involves providing comprehensive financial advice to clients, managing client relationships, and collaborating with the team on the implementation of practice-improvement initiatives within the firm. The position combines direct client service with responsibilities for helping develop and implement workflows, processes, and standards that enhance the firm's client experience and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across teams, own assigned projects, and contribute to the growth and sustainability of KCA Wealth's advisory practice. Responsibilities Serve as a trusted financial advisor to assigned clients, including discovery, planning, review meetings, and ongoing relationship management within licensing and compliance guidelines. Collaborate with the team to implement initiatives that translate the firm's service model into clear, repeatable workflows and standards. Work with advisors, planning resources, operations team members, and external professionals to clarify roles, handoffs, timelines, documentation, and next steps. Manage selected process-improvement projects from conception through execution, adoption, and stabilization. Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure follow-through without relying on direct reporting authority. Identify recurring execution gaps and collaborate with the team to recommend and implement practical improvements that enhance operational efficiency and the client experience. Maintain visibility into priorities, commitments, risks, and blockers using established operating systems. Contribute to firm growth through educational programs, community engagement, prospect follow-up, referral development, and professional partnerships. Qualifications Active securities and investment-advisory licenses necessary to serve clients independently as a financial advisor in compliance with applicable regulations. Minimum five years of progressive wealth-management experience with at least three years in a client-facing advisory role responsible for discovery, planning conversations, recommendations, reviews, and ongoing service. Proven experience managing client relationships independently rather than primarily serving in supporting or paraplanning roles. Demonstrated success owning and implementing business or practice-improvement initiatives from start to completion. Ability to coordinate initiatives across teams without direct authority while managing competing priorities. Strong skills in translating complex client needs into practical processes and workflows. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience with strong knowledge of fiduciary wealth-management principles, financial-planning software, CRM systems, and compliance requirements. Preferred Qualifications Industry designations such as CFP®, ChFC®, or relevant advanced credentials. Experience designing or improving client-service workflows or practice-management systems. Familiarity with structured operating systems such as EOS / Traction. Experience with wealth-management technology platforms for planning, portfolio management, tax planning, or workflow automation. Background in developing educational programs or community-engagement initiatives related to financial advising. Experience transitioning or growing an advisory book within regulatory frameworks.
