- Summary
- The Operations Sr.
Business Analyst will serve as a key contributor to the organization's strategic transformation efforts. The Analyst will play a critical role in translating business requirements into system capabilities, ensuring that new tools and platforms are purpose-built to support evolving operational models. This includes conducting gap analyses, defining functional specifications which represent Operations' business needs, and supporting end-to-end development and implementation efforts. The role will work closely with Operations leaders and cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into actionable operational plans. This includes participation in gathering technical requirements, designing data flows, managing design decisions process and supporting data-driven insights and structured methodologies. This position requires a high degree of analytical rigor, business acumen, internal customer service and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operational analysis, systems development and enterprise transformation, with the ability to thrive in dynamic and evolving environments. This position will support our Operations Enablement team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. - Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- + Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data regarding process and operations.
+ Gather and analyze data related to internal benchmarking against industry standards. + Support process design efforts and workflow documentation. + Convert complex data and findings into understandable reports. + Present findings to executives/stakeholders, to enable better-informed decisions about operations improvement efforts. + Maintain clear knowledge of Freeman's enterprise and branch operations environments + Work with management to identify business needs, challenges and opportunities. Maintain familiarity with the Operations roadmap and provide support in future business planning. + Synthesizes complex or diverse information using intuition, research and experience to complement data provided. Reviews & analyzes a wide variety of information and recommends a specific course of action. + Takes steps to improve or correct errors and expand overall products or services. Strives for continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and assessing risks. Supports an environment conducive to change and fosters free exchange of ideas to improve processes. + Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. + Analyzes problems and alternative solutions and takes appropriate timely action to achieve desired business results. - Education & Experience
- + Bachelors degree from a four year accredited college or university with a concentration in a relevant field is requried.
+ 10+ years in operational analysis, process improvement, enterprise transformation or relevant experience, in a multi-project environment. + Knowledge of up-to-date process development methods and technologies. + Proven verbal and written communication skills. + Demonstrated ability to maximize impact, maintain interest, and establish a rapport with the audience when conveying information. + Experienced in managing multiple training team activities. + Possesses the business acumen to understand business implications of decisions. + Experience in curriculum development and/or instructional design. + Knowledge and experience in implementation and operation of a Learning Management System.
