Job Description
Department Revenue Cycle Job Summary This position is designed to assist in creating consistency and efficiency in every aspect of the revenue cycle serving as key resource for managing revenue cycle process improvements, revenue cycle project management, and complex data resource requests and analysis in the development of data driven decisions. Strong communication, critical thinking, team building, leadership, analytical and time management skills, along with a high level of proficiency in word processing, data base use and management, and spreadsheet skills are essential. This position demands high energy, self-motivation and a positive forward thinking and customer service attitude. Required Qualifications
- Requires customer service-oriented, strong interpersonal and team building skills with a positive attitude.
- Requires a high level computer skills, including spreadsheet programs, word processing, database programs, and various Microsoft applications with the ability to quickly learn and utilize new systems.
- Requires Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or business related field, preferably Accounting or Finance. Master degree preferred.
- Requires five (5) years of financial/analytical responsibilities at a medium or large organization that required a high use of critical thinking and complex analytical skills.
- Requires demonstrated ability to relate and manage teams in a variety of functional areas, to work and maintain composure in a stressful environment, to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and to problem-solve and think both creatively and analytically.
- Requires excellent written, oral and listening communication skills; negotiation skills; leadership and facilitation skills, as well as, the ability to communicate complicated financial data to all levels of management and staff. Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer significant experience in the coordination of financial analysis in a process improvement and accounts receivable environment.
- Prefer Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS).
