ASAP Position Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP ECC Cash Management and Liquidity Consultant to configure and implement SAP Classic Cash Management within an
SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8
environment. The consultant will establish a reliable current cash position and forward-looking liquidity forecast using standard SAP functionality, including FF7A and FF7B. The engagement will initially focus on bank balances, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and controlled memo records to support a rolling 13-week cash-flow forecast. The consultant will also assess the organization's current foreign-exchange forward process and determine whether the requirements can be supported through Cash Management or whether SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) should be activated or expanded. Key Responsibilities Assess the existing SAP ECC Cash Management configuration and identify functional or master-data gaps. Configure SAP Classic Cash Management as the foundation for cash-position and liquidity reporting. Establish and validate planning groups, planning levels, groupings, house banks, bank accounts, and related master-data assignments. Configure and support standard SAP cash-position and liquidity-forecast reporting through FF7A and FF7B. Develop a reconciled view of current cash by company code, house bank, bank account, and currency. Incorporate expected cash inflows and outflows from AR and AP open items. Configure controlled memo records for payroll, taxes, debt service, capital expenditures, and other known cash events. Support the design of a rolling 13-week cash-flow forecast with daily, weekly, and monthly views. Define cash-flow classifications, forecast-date logic, currency-conversion requirements, and reporting rules. Ensure forecast logic properly handles due dates, payment terms, payment blocks, partial payments, credit memos, and cleared items. Establish controls to prevent duplicate forecasting as transactions progress through purchase, invoice, payment, sales, billing, and collection stages. Define reconciliation and exception reporting for missing classifications, overdue items, blocked payments, expired memo records, and projected cash shortfalls. Support drill-down and traceability from summarized forecast values to underlying SAP transactions. Determine whether standard reporting is sufficient or whether a custom 13-week
ABAP ALV
report is required. Partner with technical resources on report logic, data sources, performance, security, testing, and deployment. Lead functional testing, reconciliation, user acceptance testing, and production-readiness activities. Document configuration decisions, forecast assumptions, controls, open design decisions, and ongoing support procedures. SAP TRM Assessment Determine whether SAP TRM and the relevant business functions are activated, configured, and currently in use. Review how EUR forward contracts are currently recorded, managed, valued, reconciled, and settled. Assess foreign-exchange trade volume, counterparties, exposure management, valuation requirements, lifecycle events, and hedge-accounting needs. Determine whether forward settlements can be incorporated into Cash Management through controlled inputs or integration. Advise whether SAP TRM or an existing external Treasury Management System should serve as the authoritative hedge-book system. Provide recommendations regarding any additional TRM scope that may be required. Required Qualifications Strong SAP FI functional expertise with hands-on experience in SAP ECC Cash Management and Liquidity Management . Experience configuring SAP Classic Cash Management in an ECC 6.0 environment. Hands-on knowledge of FF7A Cash Position and FF7B Liquidity Forecast. Strong understanding of FI, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank accounting, house banks, payment processing, and open-item management. Experience configuring planning groups, planning levels, groupings, memo records, and cash-management master data. Experience designing or implementing short-term and 13-week cash-flow forecasts. Ability to reconcile Cash Management reporting with FI balances, AR/AP open items, and bank-related G/L accounts. Understanding of cash-flow classification, forecast-date determination, currency conversion, and duplicate-suppression logic. Ability to work independently and deliver within a short, focused engagement. Strong communication skills with the ability to partner directly with Finance and Treasury stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience assessing or implementing SAP Treasury and Risk Management . Knowledge of SAP Transaction Manager, Exposure Management, FX forwards, hedge management, and financial-instrument valuation. Experience integrating an external Treasury Management System with SAP. Familiarity with MM purchasing commitments and SD sales-cycle data used in liquidity forecasting. Ability to translate functional requirements into specifications for custom

reporting. Experience supporting cash-management reporting across multiple company codes and currencies.
