Job Description

Strategic Business Planner Our client is seeking a Strategic Business Planner to lead strategic planning efforts, translate business priorities into actionable plans, and help guide short- and long-term organizational direction. This role is ideal for an experienced strategic thinker who combines strong forecasting and project management capabilities with high-impact written communication, executive presence, and the ability to quickly build productive relationships across an organization. This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon. Strategic Business Planner Responsibilities Lead strategic planning and forecasting efforts, translating business priorities, market dynamics, and organizational goals into clear short- and long-term plans. Manage strategic planning processes, milestones, and deliverables to ensure key initiatives remain aligned, actionable, and on schedule. Develop executive-ready communications, presentations, recommendations, and planning materials that clearly articulate strategic priorities and business implications. Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align objectives, establish priorities, and integrate strategies across teams and functions. Evaluate business performance, industry conditions, competitive factors, and emerging trends to identify opportunities, risks, and potential adjustments to strategy. Establish meaningful measures for strategic initiatives and help drive accountability toward business objectives and performance expectations. Support recurring business reviews by synthesizing performance insights, identifying areas requiring attention, and helping leadership determine appropriate actions. Build strong working relationships quickly, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and proactively move strategic initiatives from planning through execution. Strategic Business Planner Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Strategy, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 10+ years of directly relevant experience in strategic planning, business planning, corporate strategy, or a comparable strategic leadership role. Advanced strategic thinking, business planning, and forecasting skills with demonstrated experience translating complex information into actionable recommendations. Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities, stakeholders, timelines, and strategic deliverables. Exceptional written communication skills with experience developing concise, high-impact materials for senior and executive audiences. Demonstrated ability to quickly establish relationships and effectively influence and navigate executive-level stakeholders. Proactive, action-oriented approach with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and make progress with limited ramp-up time. Previous experience within a large global apparel, footwear, consumer products, or retail organization is strongly preferred.
Compensation:
