Technical Business Analyst

Job Description Insight Global's healthcare client is hiring for a Technical Business Analyst. Candidates will work closely with the development team to ensure accurate API mapping and integration across systems. This includes participating in technical discussions to clarify requirements and resolve integration challenges. They will analyze and document functional requirements, translating them into technical specifications for APIs and microservices. A key part of the role involves supporting migration efforts from IBM Integration Bus (IIB) to a microservices-based architecture. Candidates will also contribute to projects related to clinical enablement, such as prior authorization workflows within utilization management and the MedCompass platform for all prior authorization processes. Additionally, you will validate JSON structures and API payloads for accuracy and compliance, ensuring technical mapping aligns with business objectives and functional design. • 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in technical environments
• Strong expertise in API mapping (most critical requirement)
• Hands-on experience with:
• Technical mapping
• APIs and integration workflows
• IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or similar IBM products
• Java
• Microservices architecture
• Ability to work with JSON files and understand API-level details
• Solid understanding of functional requirements and how they translate into technical solutions Experience participating in technical discussions with development teams
