About The Company:
Yoder's Building Services is the premier building materials and services supplier in the Upstate region of South Carolina, serving homebuilders, contractors, remodelers, and homeowners with materials and services of the highest quality.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Business Support Analyst to support our base of ~90 users in sales, operations, inventory, and purchasing roles. This role is part of a small IT team that is positioned to move the organization ahead in our technology, systems, and capabilities.
ONSITE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and document business processes for each department, with an eye towards finding and improving workflow efficiency. Develop training materials and work with HR to train new employees that start with the company. Periodically perform refresher training for current employees. Answer questions and assist employees with their ERP issues and concerns. Research and analyze problematic ERP transactions, and provide guidance on how to fix them. Write specifications and designs for new business intelligence dashboards, and email alerts. Research, test, and familiarize yourself with new ERP features, and implement them into business processes by training employees and updating documentation. Coordinate, set up, and test ERP integrations with vendors, customers, and internal users. Set up and configure ERP user accounts, permissions, products, etc. Provide level 1 support to ERP users with escalation as needed.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience with ERP software or similar systems. Excellent software testing/troubleshooting and project management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain business and accounting issues to fellow employees. Strong logic and critical thinking skills. Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices. Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of business concepts such as sales, inventory, cost, deposits, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server queries. Experience creating business intelligence tools.
