The Business Applications Analyst Associate serves as an application specialist who uses expert knowledge; clinical; financial; or information technology experience; and a self-directed approach to develop; establish; and maintain computer application solutions
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education Associates Degree or equivalent from 2 year college program or technical school; Or two years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum Work Experience None Required Licenses/Certifications N/A Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities Written and oral communication skills Ability to use critical thinking skills to analyze and solve problems Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks Ability to work successfully in a team environment Occasional night; weekend; and holiday work Occasional off-campus and overnight travel for site visits and training Customer service or helpdesk experience helpful Familiar with Microsoft Office products including Excel; Word; and PowerPoint Is flexible and innovative - operates with comprehensive knowledge of the organizations needs and goals Collaborates with and motivates customers; vendors; and other IT professionals to meet challenges which may include working with limited resources in order to maximize efficiency and achieve quality outcomes. Is responsible for complex applications and is knowledgeable of Software Vendor team-wide applications; projects and initiatives. Has an in depth understanding of system integration and takes steps to insure that other systems and modules will work in harmony with their supported applications. Successfully completes work assignments that are complex; multi-disciplinary; multi- application oriented; and require new and unique approaches with a varied group of people. Operates under the guidance of Business Applications Analysts; Business Applications Analyst Advanced; and/or Team Leads. Efficiently escalates handling of problem or difficult issues and ensures deadlines are met even when this requires that others be persuaded to reprioritize or undertake a completely different approach than is normal; as well as any other projects or tasks assigned to the Information Systems Department.
