- 12 Months On-site H1B, or GC or US Citizen The Role We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to serve as a key link between our business stakeholders, Salesforce ecosystem, and Data & Analytics teams.
In this role, you will partner closely with Sales, Technology, and Data & Analytics teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable data and analytics requirements. You will develop a strong understanding of customer and Salesforce data sources, business processes, and reporting needs and help ensure that customer data is accurately ingested, transformed, governed, and made available for analytics and decision-making. You will work across the data delivery lifecycle from discovery and requirements definition through data mapping, development support, testing, UAT, and production validation; helping ensure that the solutions we deliver are trusted, usable, and aligned with business value. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Data Engineers, and BI Developers to transform analytical opportunities into scalable digital products. What You'll Do Partner with Sales, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, objectives, and data needs. Lead and facilitate discovery sessions and requirements workshops with business and technical stakeholders. Translate business needs into clear business, functional, data, and reporting requirements. Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, process flows, and detailed data requirements. Analyze Salesforce data structures, including standard and custom objects, fields, relationships, and business rules. Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues, gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement. Define source-to-target mappings and transformation requirements between customer data files and core data assets. Partner with Data Engineers and Data Architects to ensure data is appropriately ingested, transformed, and modeled within the enterprise data platform. Collaborate with business stakeholders and BI and analytics teams to define KPIs, metrics, dimensions, calculations, dashboards, and reporting requirements. Perform data reconciliation and validation between data sources, core data assets, and downstream reporting and analytics solutions. Define and document data quality rules, business definitions, data ownership, and critical data elements. Coordinate with business stakeholders to validate that delivered solutions meet requirements and expected business outcomes. Identify, document, and support resolution of data and functional defects. Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Support Product Owners with backlog definition, refinement, prioritization, and readiness. Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex technical concepts into clear business language and business needs into actionable technical requirements. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience as a Sr Business Analyst, Data Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role. Strong experience working with Salesforce, and a solid understanding of Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, and data structures. Demonstrated experience translating business needs into detailed data, functional, and analytics requirements. Strong understanding of the end-to-end data lifecycle, from source systems through ingestion, transformation, data modeling, reporting, and analytics. Experience with data mapping, data profiling, data reconciliation, data validation, and data quality analysis. Strong SQL and Excel skills and the ability to independently analyze and validate data. Experience working closely with Data Engineers, Data Architects, BI Developers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders. Understanding of data governance concepts including data ownership, data quality, metadata, lineage, and business definitions. Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences and translate between the two.
