Why you'll love this job Responsible for evaluting and cultivating strategic AAdvantage mileage partnerships This job is a member of the Partnership Strategy Team within the Customer Experience Division. What you'll do As noted above, this list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations. Evaluates new loyalty partner opportunites to ensure they are the appropriate strategic fit Defines commercial terms of new partner agreements and models financial impact Works with Legal, Data Privacy and Secuirty to create and execute partner contracts Project manages the onboarding and implementation of new partners Assists in the overall strategy to grow and manage existing partnerships Researches industry trends and competitive landscapes to develop each partner vertical Performs competitive analyses to build a partner prospect pipeline Executes performance reporting for Partner Marketing Provide analytic support in planning and execution of strategic growth initiatives Attends, and when applicable, represents American at relevant industry functions to establish and maintain industry contacts Works on other special projects as assigned, which include cross-utilization within the department or with other departments Manages vendor invoice reconciliation, validation, and dispute resolution activities. Monitors vendor performance against contractual obligations and service level agreements, implementing corrective action plans as needed. All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training (Business Development, Marketing, Sales or loyalty partnerships for a minimum of 1-2 years) Experience building and maintaining business relationships Experience developing business goals and growth objectives and ensuring they are met Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Proficiency in SQL and utilizing data to create insights for the business Financial reporting and ROI modeling Experience developing legal agreements Skills, Licenses & Certifications Basic understanding of the airline business and/or loyalty partnerships Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be extremely proficient with Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation development. Self-motivated individual with a high personal standard of excellence who can work independently to drive for results Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail Ability to function in a high volume, multi-project, and sometimes ambiguous environment Ability to independently conduct one-on-one meeting negotiations with partner prospects Strong presentation skills What you'll get Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:
