Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst with a background in the defense industrial base industry to support a critical enterprise initiative focused on process improvement, data analysis, and business systems optimization. This individual will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping define solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance data integrity, and drive informed decision-making. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing existing workflows, supporting data management efforts, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure business objectives are translated into effective technical solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

• Analyze, document, and evaluate business processes to identify opportunities for operational improvements and increased efficiency
• Gather, interpret, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders across the organization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define solutions that align with strategic business goals
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities while recommending actionable solutions
• Clean, normalize, and analyze data from multiple sources to support business decisions and reporting needs
• Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate key metrics and insights
• Support data architecture efforts by documenting data flows, business rules, and data lineage
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and processes
• Monitor and evaluate system performance, enhancements, and change initiatives
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions
• Maintain project documentation, process maps, and business analysis artifacts throughout the project lifecycle

Compensation:

$65-75/HR Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. • Experience in Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in business analysis, process improvement, or a related field.
• Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
• Ability to build dashboards to help inform business decisions (tableau, PowerBI etc.)
• Effective communication, leadership qualities, team and stakeholder collaboration, problem solving, and analytical skill
