Robert Half is partnering with a company in Wisconsin to help them hire a Business Applications Analyst to join their IT team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting enterprise business applications, solving technical challenges, and partnering with users to improve business processes through technology. In this role, you'll support critical business applications, develop reporting solutions, assist with system enhancements, and help deliver integrations and automation initiatives that improve efficiency across the organization. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and third-party vendors while gaining exposure to a variety of enterprise technologies and projects. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administration, support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for enterprise ERP and business applications. Serve as a primary resource for application support, resolving user issues and providing second-level technical support. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and recommend system improvements. Plan, test, and implement application enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality. Create, maintain, and enhance SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports using SSRS or similar reporting tools. Develop operational and business reports that improve access to critical data and support decision-making. Support application integrations, APIs, and data exchange processes between enterprise systems. Assist with maintaining and enhancing robotic process automation (RPA) workflows using UiPath or similar technologies. Create and maintain technical documentation, system procedures, and end-user training materials. Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support ongoing application improvements and technology initiatives. 2+ years of experience supporting ERP or enterprise business applications. Strong SQL skills with experience writing queries for reporting, troubleshooting, and data analysis. Experience creating reports using SSRS or a comparable reporting platform. Experience supporting application integrations, APIs, or other system interfaces. Basic coding or scripting knowledge. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) platforms such as UiPath. Experience supporting EDI or other electronic data exchange solutions. Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI. Experience participating in ERP upgrades, implementations, or major system enhancement projects. Experience working with enterprise reporting, workflow automation, or business process improvement initiatives.
