MRA-The Management Association is seeking an HR Business Partner to join our HR Services team in Milwaukee in November 2026 to take on a long-term engagement with a member organization that our team has been supporting for several years. This assignment requires two days per week on-site at our member organization, Shorewood. Opportunities for additional engagements with other member organizations are also available alongside this engagement. As an HR consultant, you'll partner with organizations across multiple industries, serving as a trusted advisor on both strategic and day-to-day HR challenges. Think Jill or Jack of all

Responsibilities:
Initiate and complete ongoing assignments for members (clients) using sound HR practice principles and in the most cost-effective manner.
You will provide HR support to member organizations ranging from 10 employees to 10,000.

Payroll & benefits administrationPolicy interpretation & implementationCoaching leaders on a variety of employee-related issues.
Employee life-cycle managementHR ComplianceDay-to-Day HR SupportEmployee Relations In addition to a focus on HR Assignments, you may also support members with the following project types: Employee handbooks developmentHR & Payroll Audits3rd Party InvestigationsHR Systems Implementation and IntegrationOther strategic projects Maintain accurate billable service records and complete semi-monthly time and activity reporting.

Qualifications:
Bachelors DegreeMinimum of 10-12 years of HR experience.
PHR and/or SHRM-CP Certification a plusProficient in MS Office software.
Strong knowledge of multiple HRIS platforms.
ADP WFN, UKG
Pro, Paylocity, Paycom, and/or Paycor preferred.
Prior hands-on experience processing payroll a plusThe ability to regularly travel to member companies within an hour of Waukesha, WI.
