Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an empathetic, aggressive personality to take care of our customers, and get best pricing. A background in government contracting and GWAC (Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts) purchasing is helpful. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is capable of learning and processing wide amounts of detailed knowledge and articulating that knowledge to customers, distributors, sales reps, management, and manufactures in a concise well written manner and tone.Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement activities in compliance with federal regulations and company policies Execute purchases on behalf of Federal, State and local and commercial customers. Review and interpret contract terms, pricing structures, and compliance requirements Coordinate with vendors, contracting officers, and internal stakeholders Ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase orders and invoices Monitor contract performance and maintain proper documentation for audits Resolve discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, and invoicing Support reporting and tracking of government procurement activitiesRequired Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write, and speak in English. Must be skilled at mathematics. Should know times tables and easily compute percentages.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with multiple government contract vehicles Knowledge of audit requirements and documentation standards Background in supply chain, finance, or related field Bachelor's degree or demonstrated work ethic. 2+ years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in government contracting, or demonstrated work ethic. Experience with invoicing processes related to government contracts Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills 2+ years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in government contracting Hands-on experience with GWACs (e.g., GSA, SEWP, ITES, ADMC-3 etc.) Understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and compliance requirements Experience with invoicing processes related to government contracts and commercial accounts. Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Comfortable speaking to customers on the phone.Why Join Us:
