Overview:
We're looking for an eager-to-learn Buyer. In this role, you'll be responsible for the procurement of materials supporting production. The ideal candidate has a knowledge of electronics and test equipment, server racks, and is technically minded. As a contributor in a small company, you will be expected to be a self-starter and ready to learn various buying categories, as well as effectively manage costing and procurement schedules.About Our Company:

Join us in shaping the future with next-gen testing solutions.Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
Prepares purchase orders, places orders, and selects vendors Requests and analyzes quotes to ensure equipment or parts are available in sufficient quantities and with acceptable lead times Monitors purchase orders to ensure product is received on time and tracks back orders Works with warehouse staff to maintain inventory records and receipt of product on time Monitors and maintains purchase order systems Consults with suppliers to obtain correct equipment based on specifications Maintains working relationships with vendors and suppliers for quote and rate/price negotiations Creates and maintains supplier scorecards Creates new vendor accounts, establishes terms, researches and recommends new vendors Reconciles invoices from suppliers if purchase orders are not referenced Creates and processes returns of equipment for calibration, repair or return Creates purchasing reports weekly and monthly Performs other duties as assignedSkills:
Strong attention to detail Well organized Negotiation skills Ability to communicate with internal and external customers timely and accurately Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ability to navigate systems and technology Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems Willing and eager to learnQualifications:
2-4 years purchasing, equipment or electronics background preferred Bachelor's Degree - Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain preferredPay:
$60,000 - $85,000 per yearLocation:
El Cajon, CA Hours:
Full-time, In-office, Monday through Friday. 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with ability to work extended hours as required.Benefits:
