Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchaser to support material procurement activities in Fullerton, California. This role focuses on securing the right products at the right time by coordinating with suppliers, monitoring purchasing needs, and helping maintain reliable inventory flow. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and experience managing day-to-day buying activities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Source materials and products from approved suppliers while balancing cost, quality, and delivery expectations.
- Create, review, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate procurement transactions.
- Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, lead times, and shipment schedules.
- Track open orders and follow up on delays or discrepancies to minimize disruptions to operations.
- Partner with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and align orders with business demand.
- Maintain purchasing records and documentation to support accuracy, reporting, and audit readiness.
- Evaluate supplier performance and help identify opportunities to improve service, pricing, or reliability.
- Assist with procurement-related process updates or system-related changes as needed within daily purchasing operations.
