full-time Company Description For over 45 years, PARPRO Technologies has been a trusted leader in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) in Southern California. Specializing in PCB assembly, electro-mechanical assembly, and systems integration, we proudly serve the industrial, medical, aerospace, and military markets with high-quality manufacturing solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Buyer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization known for innovation, quality, and long-standing customer partnerships. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Buyer position based in Santa Ana, CA, reporting to the Materials Manager. The Buyer is responsible for purchasing materials and components needed to support production schedules and customer requirements. Key duties include obtaining quotes, creating and managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, tracking deliveries, and helping resolve supply issues. The Buyer works closely with production, engineering, quality, and finance teams to ensure materials are available when needed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate purchasing records, monitoring supplier performance, supporting inventory management, and identifying opportunities to improve costs and efficiency within the purchasing process. Qualifications/Skills -

  • Previous experience in a contract manufacturing or EMS environment required
  • 3-5 years of purchasing experience with electronic components, PCB fabrication, and metal fabrication in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of MRP systems (Epicor experience preferred), supplier negotiations, and contract management
  • Experience with eProcurement platforms and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to read and interpret product structures, BOMs, drawings, and Gerber files
  • Proven ability to negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and supplier agreements while driving continuous cost improvements
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with suppliers and cross-functional teams at all organizational levels The Company offers competitive salary and benefits.
