Inventory / Purchasing Coordinator (E-commerce) HardwareX Supply - 5.0 Ontario, CA Job Details Full-time $20 - $23 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Microsoft Excel Multitasking Supply chain inventory management High school diploma or GED Demand forecasting analysis Attention to detail Purchasing Computer skills Associate's degree Time management Full Job Description Job Overview HardwareX Supply is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator to support inventory planning, purchasing, and replenishment across multiple e-commerce sales channels, including Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and other marketplaces. This role is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, analyzing sales trends, planning replenishment, and coordinating purchasing to maintain healthy inventory levels and consistent product availability. A key responsibility will be planning Amazon FBA replenishments and providing the warehouse team with clear, actionable shipping plans . The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with large amounts of SKU data, and able to identify inventory needs before they become stockout issues. Key Responsibilities Demand Planning & Forecasting Analyze historical sales, sales velocity, and inventory trends across multiple marketplaces. Monitor demand by SKU and identify changes in sales velocity or channel performance. Assist with forecasting inventory requirements based on sales trends, current inventory, supplier lead times, and expected demand. Recommend replenishment quantities to maintain appropriate inventory levels. Identify potential stockouts and proactively plan inventory replenishment. Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels across Amazon FBA, FBM, warehouse locations, and other sales channels. Review FBA inventory and identify products requiring replenishment. Monitor warehouse inventory available for FBA shipments. Maintain accurate inventory information across internal systems and online marketplaces. Identify excess, aged, and slow-moving inventory. Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them. Assist with inventory transfers between warehouse locations when needed. FBA Replenishment & Warehouse Coordination Regularly review Amazon FBA inventory and determine which products need to be replenished. Create FBA replenishment plans based on inventory levels, sales velocity, and available warehouse stock. Prepare clear planning sheets for warehouse associates showing the SKUs and quantities to pull and ship. Coordinate with warehouse associates to ensure products are pulled, prepped, packed, labeled, and shipped according to the replenishment plan. Track FBA shipments and monitor inventory as shipments are received. Follow up on shipment delays, receiving discrepancies, or other FBA issues. Purchasing & Replenishment Create and submit purchase orders based on inventory needs and demand forecasts. Monitor reorder points and determine when additional inventory should be purchased. Coordinate with suppliers regarding product availability, pricing, minimum order quantities, lead times, and delivery schedules. Track open purchase orders and expected delivery dates. Follow up with suppliers regarding delayed, short, damaged, or incorrect shipments. Assist with maintaining accurate product costs, COGS, and pricing information. Help ensure sufficient inventory is available to support sales while minimizing excess inventory. Logistics & E-Commerce Coordination Coordinate inventory movement between suppliers, warehouses, Amazon FBA, and other sales channels. Monitor inbound inventory and expected receiving dates. Work closely with warehouse and purchasing teams to maintain a smooth flow of inventory. Monitor inventory availability across Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and other marketplaces. Assist with resolving inventory synchronization and listing-related inventory issues. Prepare inventory reports and provide updates to management. Qualifications Reliable and able to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM . 1-3+ years of experience in e-commerce, inventory management, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field preferred. Experience working with multiple online sales channels such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Walmart, or similar platforms. Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Highly organized with good time management skills. Comfortable managing a large number of SKUs and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, warehouse personnel, and management. Ability to work independently and follow through on assigned responsibilities. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and Amazon FBA . Experience planning or creating FBA replenishment shipments. Experience with inventory forecasting or demand planning. Experience with purchase orders and supplier coordination. Basic understanding of logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory flow. Experience with inventory or order management software such as Teapplix or similar systems. Experience in home improvement, hardware, wholesale, or e-commerce distribution is a plus. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is proactive, analytical, organized, and dependable . The successful candidate should be able to look at sales and inventory data, recognize when a product is likely to run low, determine how much inventory should be replenished, and turn that information into a clear plan for the warehouse and purchasing team. This is a hands-on position that combines inventory planning, Amazon FBA replenishment, purchasing, supplier coordination, and warehouse communication .
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
