Summary:

The Buyer assists the merchant on a daily basis with product development and inventory planning. This role includes working closely with sales personnel and teams to suggest inventory availability and product alternatives, as well as communicating with all associates to provide information on new products, including pricing, sizes, and other relevant product details.

This salaried, exempt position pays from $90,000 to $120,000 per year. The estimated annual pay for new hires generally ranges from $100,000 to $135,000 or more, depending on experience, education level and annual bonuses. To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities: Partner with Product Leaders on product development, lifecycle and portfolio management, pricing strategy, customer penetration, profit optimization, inventory flow, and strategic global sourcing Analyze and execute quickly across multiple responsibilities simultaneously Make and implement decisions rapidly with strong reasoning and analytical support Demonstrate exceptional leadership managing up and down to ensure collaborative and constructive decision-making Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, including humility and self-awareness, and engage appropriately in collaborative processes Take a hands-on approach with SKU-level engagement and focus on detailed reasoning and quantification Show high curiosity and ask insightful questions to drive results Execute aggressively while remaining adaptable and agreeable in team settings Apply practical experience in inventory planning Demonstrate strong quantitative, reasoning, and leadership skills, along with deep understanding of product development, inventory management, or strategic sourcing Meet all outlined requirements before applying Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred Minimum of three (3) years of work experience Demonstrate superb quantitative, analytical, and reasoning skills Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent verbal communication High attention to detail Experience with complex Excel modeling Proven ability to drive complex execution processes and manage cross-functional teams without direct reporting relationships Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
