The ITPR Specialist provides contractor support for the coordination, development, processing, and tracking of Information Technology Procurement Requests in support of
NAVSEA/NSWC
Port Hueneme. The position serves as a liaison between Government customers, IT technical teams, cybersecurity personnel, and procurement stakeholders to ensure IT requirements are clearly defined, properly documented, reviewed, and progressed through established Government processes. The ITPR Specialist provides responsive customer support, maintains visibility of procurement actions, and helps identify and resolve issues that could delay the fulfillment of IT requirements.
Other responsibilities include:
Receive, review, and coordinate IT procurement requests, working with customers to gather and clarify technical, functional, and business requirements. Coordinate with IT technical and cybersecurity teams to develop equipment, software, hardware, and service specifications and complete required technical, configuration, and compatibility reviews. Review requests for completeness and coordinate the collection of required documentation, information, and approvals. Prepare, maintain, and track ITPR documentation and actions within designated Government systems and tracking tools. Monitor procurement requests from initiation through completion, providing status updates and coordinating follow-up actions with customers, technical teams, procurement, and contracting personnel. Identify potential delays, issues, or process gaps and coordinate corrective actions to keep requirements moving forward. Maintain accurate procurement records and develop status reports, metrics, and other management information to support tracking and reporting requirements. Provide responsive customer service while communicating effectively with Government personnel, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders and ensuring support activities follow applicable Navy, NAVSEA, NSWC Port Hueneme, and local procedures. Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Due to customer requirements, U.S Citizenship is required. Must be bale to obtain and maintain a DoW Security Clearance for duration of employment. Personnel may be required to obtain and maintain a TS clearance. AS Degree or Related Certificate A CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
Salary:
the expected salary range for this position is $70,304 to $91,520 but is subjected to change.
