Supplier Compliance Associate For immediate consideration, please send resume to: t d e l g a d o@appleone.com. The Supplier Compliance Associate supports a
GFSI SQF
certified food manufacturing operation by managing supplier documentation, approvals, and compliance requirements. This role works closely with procurement and quality teams and serves as a primary point of contact with suppliers to help ensure that raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and related documentation meet food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The position also supports company certifications such as Organic, Kosher, Non-GMO, and Halal. Key Responsibilities The Supplier Compliance Associate supports the Supplier Monitoring and Approval Program by: Managing and maintaining supplier documentation in the company's document management system Requesting supplier information including specifications, pricing, samples, packaging details, and availability Communicating raw material and food-contact packaging requirements to suppliers Placing purchase orders for approved raw materials and packaging Conducting regular outreach to suppliers to collect required documentation Maintaining and updating the approved supplier list for domestic and international suppliers Filing and organizing supplier documents so they are accessible to internal teams Communicating document updates and approvals to relevant departments Assisting with supplier follow-up during food safety or quality issues Supporting corrective action documentation when supplier non-conformances occur Completing vendor packets and supplier approval paperwork as needed Additional Responsibilities Submitting documentation to support certifications including Organic, Kosher, Non-GMO, and Halal Supporting requests for SDS sheets, Prop 65 status, TTB documentation, and related compliance information Reviewing, updating, and maintaining technical documents such as product specifications, COAs, nutritionals, and company statements Supporting purchase order processing and data entry in the ERP system Responding to internal requests for supplier and technical documentation Ensuring all documentation is accurate, current, and compliant with applicable regulations Protecting confidential supplier and company information within document systems Working closely with quality, procurement, product development, labels, customer service, and management Following company SOPs, policies, and procedures Performing other related duties as assigned Key Skills & Competencies Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with suppliers and cross-functional teams Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Comfortable working with document systems and ERP software Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans The Know Your Rights poster is available here: https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdf The pay transparency policy is available here: https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdf For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
